Messianic Promise

A man, Abraham; a people, Israel, recieved God's promise. At the beginning they were earthly promises: a son, a land, a king, an abundant prosperity. Later on, the promise becomes a "new alliance". But in the end, the promise referred to "the promised one", the "annointed one", the Messiah Jesus. Through Him God fulfilled his plan of salvation. Christ had to die and resurrect so that in his name the conversion would be proclaimed to all nations for the remission of sins. Christ is the fulfillment of God's promise. He is our salvation, the awaited one of all nations.
